Reduce crime – support law enforcement officers with the tools they need to prevent gun violence and other crime in our neighborhoods.

Reduce homelessness – invest in proven mental health and substance abuse programs to address some of the root causes of homelessness; commit to creating more affordable housing.

Support education - invest in our students in and out of the classroom, and recruit and retain great teachers. 

Healthcare as a right - we need to control the rising cost of healthcare and increase the accessibility of healthcare services for all. We need to address the healthcare needs of seniors and people with disabilities and support their caregivers. I support family friendly policies like Paid Family Medical Leave and will continue to defend access to reproductive healthcare against Republican attempts to criminalize abortion. 

Improve our economy, create good paying jobs and support the growth of New Mexico’s renewable energy, technology, and healthcare industries; partner with schools and unions for expanded job training that provide lifelong career opportunities.

Lead by example: champion environmental justice and combat climate change, reducing emissions, and protecting our water, air, and land.
