Dear Neighbor, 

Albuquerque is my home and it has been my honor to have served our families and neighborhoods on the Albuquerque City Council and Bernalillo County Commission since 2003.

Now I am running for State Senate to use my skills and experience to further uplift families, women, and children while serving in the New Mexico state legislature. 

What we need most in Santa Fe are progressive fighters—leaders who are unafraid to stand up for the needs of working families and our environment, and leaders who are unafraid to stand up to the corporate lobbyists and their outsized influence on policy.  

I am ready to go to Santa Fe to be the fighter you know me to be. You can count on me to continue to pursue responsible, sustainable economic development and affordable housing, strategies to address homelessness, improved public safety, accessible healthcare, and to see that our schools and educators get the support they need.
